Jun Moriwaki (Birth name: Jun Myers)

Born at March 21, 1978 in Tokyo
Lives in Shonan, Fujisawa city, Kanagawa

I grew up watching my father live with Yoga in his life.
At the age of 16, I started to learn meditation, natural food and naturopathy and also practice Yoga asana.
At that time, I was studying and practicing so hard to improve myself, so that I could overcome my overweight body and irritable character.

I spent 4 years in the US as a university student, with too much junk food and days with parties. After returning to Japan, I worked in the IT industry and collapsed from overwork.
This experience led me to live life by practicing Yoga and eating healthy food, and I was able to return to my healthy self, both in body and mind. From this successful experience, I decided to become a yoga instructor to spread and communicate Yoga and naturopathy to everyone who suffer from the same kind of difficulties.

From 2004 ~ Act a Yoga model and instructor, operating a website to help spread Yoga.
2006~2008 Took part in the opening of SUGATA studio in Kamakura as a management director. Planned and held various kinds of events combining Yoga, outrigger canoe, beach Yoga, walking and all-natural food lunch.

2009 Oct. Gave birth to my first child by home birth.
Following my pregnancy, I learned how to spend a comfortable maternity life. I practiced maternity Yoga and enjoyed calm and quiet days.
Although it took 21 hours for childbirth since I started feeling labor pains, childbirth itself was quite comfortable and without much pain. “Childbirth is Pleasant!!!”

2011 Spring, started offering maternity Yoga lessons for every post childbirth mother in the Shonan area.
Yoga for every mother to help them enjoy a happy life from Shonan.
I’ve restarted my career after childbirth with the new name Jun Moriwaki.
My mottoes are “Happiness through yoga for both mental and physical heatlh” and “Yoga for all women”.
