    What is Jivamukti Yoga

    Jivamukti Yoga is one of the nine internationally recognized styles of yoga. A vigorous style of Hatha Yoga Jivamukti relies upon asana as one of its main expressions and tools. We will explore asana along with the 5 tenets of Jivamukti Yoga
    1.Ahimsa 2.Bhakti 3.Meditation 4.Nada 5.Scripture.

    Standing poses are the building blocks of a yoga practice. They are representative of our ability to be grounded, to be standing on our own two feet. The alignment we strive to perfect in Tadasana is reflected throughout every asana in our practice. If the student can master Tadasana, then all of the other asanas are like building blocks on a strong foundation. A vigorous Jivamukti Yoga class for all levels of practitioner.
